When is hospitalisation recommended?

Hospitalisation may be advised in situations such as:

• Post-surgical recovery requiring monitoring or pain management

• Administration of IV fluids, injectable medications, or oxygen therapy

• Treatment of acute illness or injury (e.g. vomiting, dehydration, infections)

• Frequent reassessments or diagnostic monitoring over several hours

 

Every recommendation for hospitalisation is made on a case-by-case basis, with your pet’s health, safety, and comfort as our top priorities.

Important note on operating hours

While we offer hospitalisation and medical boarding, Evervet is not a 24-hour facility. Pets admitted for care are only monitored during our regular operating hours by our experienced veterinary and nursing team. For pets requiring overnight monitoring or intensive, round-the-clock care, we may recommend a referral or transfer to a trusted 24-hour veterinary hospital to ensure continuous observation and support.
