Dr. Geneviene Lim returned to Singapore after spending nearly ten years studying and working in New Zealand. She earned her veterinary degree from Massey University and began her career in a busy companion animal practice in Auckland. During this time, she developed a strong interest in soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics. She is also a certified PennHIP radiography provider, performing advanced hip laxity assessments for the early detection of hip dysplasia. To further broaden her clinical expertise, she spent a year working in after-hours and emergency clinics.
Dr. Geneviene has extensive experience caring for shelter animals, having been actively involved in medical treatment and desexing initiatives for several animal shelters in Auckland. She is passionate about educating pet owners, believing that informed owners are better equipped to provide their beloved companions with a higher quality of life.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Geneviene is a dedicated fitness enthusiast who has completed two half-marathons within three weeks. In her free time, she enjoys book hunting, baking, and traveling.

Dr Geneviene Lim

Dr Vivian graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, Edinburgh with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in 2012. Upon graduation, she gained experience practising in a small animal clinic in Singapore before joining us in 2015.
She firmly believes that prevention is better than cure, and strives to empower pet owners with the knowledge to care for their beloved pets. She hopes with this we can improve the overall wellness and standards of care for our animals in Singapore. She regularly participates in continuing education programs to keep up to date with current advances in veterinary medicine, and over the years has developed keen interest in dentistry and nutrition.
During her free time, Dr Vivian enjoys exploring parts of Singapore that are less travelled. She also enjoys a good movie or book, and often spends time trying to complete another DIY project on her never-ending list.

Dr Vivian Shim

Dr Tanja graduated from the University of Sydney in 2011 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. She also has obtained a degree in Zoology from the University of Bristol. After graduation, she returned to her home country of Singapore where she worked for a busy small animal practice prior to joining Island Vets.
She has completed courses in Feline medicine and Internal Medicine with the University of Sydney CVE program. She has a keen interest in Internal Medicine and hopes to further develop her skills in Surgery and Radiology. She also has a passion for all things “Feline”.
She believes in the importance of preventative pet healthcare, which aims to evaluate pet health and recognise early signs of disease.
In her free time, she enjoys snuggling up with her 17 year old adopted cat named Bindi and her two cheeky poodles Zola and Zeemo while reading a good book. She is also an avid film enthusiast and has dreams of travelling the world.

Dr Tanja Kahrs

Dr. Gerontius Lim has recently returned to his homeland of Singapore to future his veterinary career after a stint in New Zealand. He graduated from Massey University with a degree in Veterinary Science and has completed courses in Low Stress Handling and Clinical Small Animal Dentistry from University of Illinois, CVM. He strongly espouses the value of veterinary medical knowledge with pet owners in giving the best quality of life to their furry family members. Thus, he constantly strives to help owners understand every step of the way. He also believes in continual education to keep abreast of the frontiers of veterinary medicine and to give the most updated information during his consults. He has since developed an interest in dermatology and opthalmology. In his free time, Dr. Gerontius enjoys chilling, catching up on his backlog of anime and korean dramas and having gaming sessions with his bros.

Dr. Jenny Kong, a graduate of Massey University with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science, has completed courses in low stress handling and clinical small animal dentistry. Originally from Hong Kong and with experience in New Zealand, she recently moved to Singapore to pursue her passion for animal care. She focuses on helping anxious pets feel more relaxed with compassionate, individualized care.
Dr. Kong has a special interest in pocket pets, dermatology, and cattle medicine, and stays current with advancements in these areas. An avid coffee lover, she enjoys exploring new coffee spots and providing top-notch care for pets.

Dr. Chae Eun was born in South Korea and later moved to the Philippines, where she earned her DVM from the University of the Philippines in 2020. She completed the ECFVG program and passed the NAVLE, becoming licensed to practice in the U.S.
She began her clinical career in a small animal clinic in Korea before moving to a large emergency and referral hospital, spending over a year and a half in the surgical department. There, she gained hands-on experience with advanced procedures and specialized equipment, including laparoscopy, fluoroscopy, and SonoPet.
Dr. Chae has volunteered in mass spay/neuter and vaccination campaigns and has a strong interest in veterinary dentistry. She frequently visits her family in the Philippines, where she has one dog and two adopted cats. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, knitting, and reading.

Dr Angeline Wong graduated from Murdoch University in Australia in 2005 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery and started her career with a small animal practice. She then explored her interest in pathology with the government lab for a period of 4 years where her work includes post mortem examinations, cytological examinations, disease investigations and facilitating animal health programmes.
She has completed a post-graduate course in medical oncology (2011) and soft tissue surgery (2014) with CVE Sydney. Currently, she is doing a course on low stress handling as she hopes to make the vet visit a pleasant one for the pet patient or at least not more fearful the next time.
She believes in patient care with focus on evidence-based medicine and strives to achieve that with continuing education and keeping abreast with current recommendations.
She is adopted by a beautiful cross-breed dog and enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and crafts.

Straight after secondary school in Malaysia, Marion moved to Singapore to complete a Diploma in Veterinary Technology course in Temasek Polytechnic in 2014. She has since been serving the community in small animal clinics in Singapore. She believes all animals have the right to be as introverted as herself, and strives to minimise fear in the clinic. Currently on a self searching journey, you may find her exploring new experiences in town or curled up with an ebook/video game in her spare time.

Prisca graduated with her Bachelor of Animal Production and Health with Honours in the year 2020 in Malaysia. As a result of COVID, she launched her own online business for a year till 2021. In 2021, she moved to Singapore to work as a veterinary nurse assistant for two years in order to obtain expertise in these fields. In November 2023, she started working at Evervet as a veterinary technician. She owns a dog called Didi , a small senior terrier. During her free time, she enjoys cycling, doing DIY projects and watching Chinese dramas.

Kyle graduated in 2019 with an Associate Degree in Science in Veterinary Technology. He later moved to Singapore to get married and began working at a local veterinary clinic. After six years of experience there, he joined Evervet in 2024.
In 2020, Kyle and his wife adopted two local stray kittens, Geffry and Fidel, who have since become very spoiled members of the family. In his free time, Kyle enjoys exploring new places to eat, discovering unique flavors, traveling, building LEGO sets, and watching a good anime.

Graduating with a degree in Hotel Management at the peak of Covid, Meii explored a range of industries and consistently found herself drawn to animal-related roles.
​While living in New Zealand, she loved being a canine handler at a dog daycare and training centre, where her passion for animal health grew alongside a strong interest in animal behaviour.
​Outside of work, Meii's a homebody who enjoys painting and movie nights with a face mask on, and who occasionally leaves home for Muay Thai classes or travel adventures.

Joining our team in 2021, Kimberly has had a lifelong passion for animals and exotics. Growing up in the "zoo" due to her father’s job, she was surrounded by animals from a young age, which sparked her interest in caring for animals. With a particular interest in animal nutrition, training and grooming, she is always eager to learn more and provide the best care for every pet.
Outside of her veterinary work, Kimberly is an occasional foster carer for animals in need, always ready to open her heart and home to help those who require extra attention. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her two adopted kitties, a playful tortie named Marble and her Persian named Toby, as well as her loyal pup, Quinn.

Since young, Iffah loves animals and knew she wanted to work with animals when she grew up. She worked at a pet store for more than 2 years but felt that something was missing. She joined us in 2022 and found her calling treating ill patients and nursing them back to health. In her spare time, Iffah enjoys reading, watching anime and spending time with her cats.
