Dr Geneviene Lim
Dr. Geneviene Lim returned to Singapore after studying & working in New Zealand for almost a decade. She graduated from Massey University & started her career in a fast-paced companion animal practice in Auckland. There, she developed an interest in soft tissue surgery & challenged herself to work in after hours & emergency clinics for a year to gain more experience.
She also has sound experience dealing with shelter animals, having being heavily involved in medical care & desexing campaigns for various animal shelters in Auckland. She believes in passing on her knowledge to animal owners & parents so that they can provide a better quality of life for their beloved companions.
Dr. Geneviene is a fitness enthusiast, having completed two half-marathons in a span of three weeks. When she is not healing animals, she enjoys a plethora of leisure activities including book hunting, baking & traveling.

Dr Vivian Shim
Dr Vivian graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, Edinburgh with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in 2012. Upon graduation, she gained experience practising in a small animal clinic in Singapore before joining us in 2015.
She firmly believes that prevention is better than cure, and strives to empower pet owners with the knowledge to care for their beloved pets. She hopes with this we can improve the overall wellness and standards of care for our animals in Singapore. She regularly participates in continuing education programs to keep up to date with current advances in veterinary medicine, and over the years has developed keen interest in dentistry and nutrition.
During her free time, Dr Vivian enjoys exploring parts of Singapore that are less travelled. She also enjoys a good movie or book, and often spends time trying to complete another DIY project on her never-ending list.
Senior Veterinary Surgeon
Dr Tanja Kahrs
Dr Tanja graduated from the University of Sydney in 2011 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. She also has obtained a degree in Zoology from the University of Bristol. After graduation, she returned to her home country of Singapore where she worked for a busy small animal practice prior to joining Island Vets.
She has completed courses in Feline medicine and Internal Medicine with the University of Sydney CVE program. She has a keen interest in Internal Medicine and hopes to further develop her skills in Surgery and Radiology. She also has a passion for all things “Feline”.
She believes in the importance of preventative pet healthcare, which aims to evaluate pet health and recognise early signs of disease.
In her free time, she enjoys snuggling up with her 17 year old adopted cat named Bindi and her two cheeky poodles Zola and Zeemo while reading a good book. She is also an avid film enthusiast and has dreams of travelling the world.

Dr Gerontius Lim
Dr. Gerontius Lim has recently returned to his homeland of Singapore to future his veterinary career after a stint in New Zealand. He graduated from Massey University with a degree in Veterinary Science and has completed courses in Low Stress Handling and Clinical Small Animal Dentistry from University of Illinois, CVM. He strongly espouses the value of veterinary medical knowledge with pet owners in giving the best quality of life to their furry family members. Thus, he constantly strives to help owners understand every step of the way. He also believes in continual education to keep abreast of the frontiers of veterinary medicine and to give the most updated information during his consults. He has since developed an interest in dermatology and opthalmology. In his free time, Dr. Gerontius enjoys chilling, catching up on his backlog of anime and korean dramas and having gaming sessions with his bros.

Dr Moses Tay
Dr Moses Tay graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2021 with a Bachelor’s in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. He started his Vet journey working at small animal clinics within the Lytham, Blackpool and Preston areas in the UK where he saw dogs, cats and exotic pets. He then returned home to Singapore and joined the National Parks Board’s Centre as one of their Wildlife Vets for two years. There he attended to the various animals – from dogs and cats to birds and various wildlife species, and provided them with the care they required. His work allowed him to improve his diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and anatomic and clinical pathology skills. He was also involved in conducting talks and training and continues to teach and train people from the industry.
He loves all creatures great and small but has a special place in his heart for the exotic species – especially fishes. He does not currently have a pet of his own but has had a wide variety of freshwater fish friends and has helped watch some fur, feather and scale babies over the years. He is interested in pathology, surgery and diagnostic imaging. He believes that every consultation is an opportunity to collaborate with pet parents on doing the best they can for their little ones – from preventative health care to managing chronic conditions. He strives to make each visit pleasant and meaningful by keeping current with advancements in the field, being proficient with his skills and making sure the pets and their pet parents are seen and heard.
In his leisure time, he enjoys reading, watching movies and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Jenny Kong
Dr Jenny Kong graduated from Massey University with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and has completed courses in low stress handling and clinical small animal dentistry from the University of Illinois. She is a dedicated veterinarian originating from the vibrant city of Hong Kong. Her journey in the world of veterinary medicine has been enriched by her experiences living in the picturesque landscapes of New Zealand. Recently, she made the exciting move to our sunny Singapore, bringing her passion for animal care to this dynamic city. Her mission is to help anxious and stressed pets live happier, more relaxed lives by providing compassionate, individualised care. She treats each patient with the same love and attention she would give to her own pets, ensuring they receive the best possible support and comfort. She has a keen interest in pocket pets, dermatology, and cattle medicine, and she strives to stay up to date with the latest advancements in these fields to provide the best care possible. As an avid coffee lover, Dr Jenny is always up for an adventure whether it's providing top-notch care for pets or discovering the best coffee spots in town.

Consulting Veterinary Surgeon
Dr Angeline Wong(Locum)
Dr Angeline Wong graduated from Murdoch University in Australia in 2005 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery and started her career with a small animal practice. She then explored her interest in pathology with the government lab for a period of 4 years where her work includes post mortem examinations, cytological examinations, disease investigations and facilitating animal health programmes.
She has completed a post-graduate course in medical oncology (2011) and soft tissue surgery (2014) with CVE Sydney. Currently, she is doing a course on low stress handling as she hopes to make the vet visit a pleasant one for the pet patient or at least not more fearful the next time.
She believes in patient care with focus on evidence-based medicine and strives to achieve that with continuing education and keeping abreast with current recommendations.
She is adopted by a beautiful cross-breed dog that found her on the road. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and crafts.

Alicia Tay

Alicia graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Biotechnology/ Veterinary Science in 2009 where she took on a gap year to work in a small animal practice in Singapore before pursuing further education in New Zealand and obtained a degree with double majors in Animal Science and Biotechnology. Upon graduation she was offered a role at a holistic animal clinic where she worked her way to become a clinic manager. She joined the IVC Bedok team in August 2020 after having lived and worked abroad in New Zealand and the UAE for more than 10 years.
Alicia has a keen interest in animal nutrition and canine behavior. She is passionate about educating owners to provide the best care for their pets be it through nutritional advice, training support or just overall general concerns where possible. Outside of work she is the proud mum of a daughter, 2 dogs and 1 cat. She enjoys sewing and spending time with her family.

Marion Ong

Straight after secondary school in Malaysia, Marion moved to Singapore to complete a Diploma in Veterinary Technology course in Temasek Polytechnic in 2014. She has since been serving the community in small animal clinics in Singapore. She believes all animals have the right to be as introverted as herself, and strives to minimise fear in the clinic. Currently on a self searching journey, you may find her exploring new experiences in town or curled up with an ebook/video game in her spare time.

Shawn Zhu

Shawn joined our Bedok Branch nursing team in March 2016. After graduating from Temasek Polytechnic in Biotechnology/Animal Science in 2008, he took a break from the animal industry to serve our nation and re-embarked his journey in 2012.
Pursuing his interest and passion for animals, Shawn has been enhancing and improving his skills and abilities in animal handling laboratory diagnostics.
In his free time, he would be occupied in caring for his two mixed-breed dogs and one cat.

Jasmin Lim

Jasmin graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Veterinary Technology in 2019. She took a break from the veterinary industry to teach music as a registered MOE instructor from 2021-2022.
Jasmin joined the Evervet nursing team as a veterinary nurse in Oct 2022. In her free time, she likes watching medical dramas, arranging music as well as dressing up (and buying more clothes and accessories) for her Maltese x Poodle named Mocha.

Prisca Yong

Prisca graduated with her Bachelor of Animal Production and Health with Honours in the year 2020 in Malaysia. As a result of COVID, she launched her own online business for a year till 2021. In 2021, she moved to Singapore to work as a veterinary nurse assistant for two years in order to obtain expertise in these fields. In November 2023, she started working at Evervet as a veterinary technician. She owns a dog called Didi , a small senior terrier. During her free time, she enjoys cycling, doing DIY projects and watching Chinese dramas.

Sze Min graduated with her Bachelor of Animal Resource Science and Management in the year 2023 in Malaysia. She started working as a veterinary technician at Evervet in April 2024. In her free time, she likes going for hikes and nature walks that will help to keep her mind at peace.

In 2022, Ashley earned a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Animal Resource Science and Management. Since childhood, she has benefited from the delight and company of her furbabies Momo, FeiMao, and Maisy and she dedicates her life to giving them all the love and care that they need.

Joining us in the year 2021, Kimberly has had a passion for animals ever since she was little. She has a keen interest in animal nutrition and grooming. She occasionally fosters animals and spends most of her free time with her two adopted kitties, a tortie (Marble), a Persian (Toby) and her pup named Quinn.

Putri Iffah
Since young, Iffah loves animals and knew she wanted to work with animals when she grew up. She worked at a pet store for more than 2 years but felt that something was missing. She joined us in 2022 and found her calling treating ill patients and nursing them back to health. In her spare time, Iffah enjoys reading, watching anime and spending time with her cats.
